USER INFO

To CHARGE PDA, Smartphone, Mp3, PSP device:

Plug any OEM USB cable compatible to the device to OUT port (may be used with OEM USB cable that came with device or may be purchase separately through JAVOedge..see JAVOSync Cables; or if your device is compatible with Mini USB cable provided that can be used)
Once device is connected to the Portable Battery Pack, press button to start charging. (Button locate above and between OUT and IN port)
Green Light = charging device
Red Light = charging completed
Charging time: varies; it is dependent on your device
Portable Battery Charging Capabilities: Charge device up to at least 3 times before battery pack needs recharging. Depending on device, could possibly go up to 8 times before recharging.

To RECHARGE Portable Battery Charger:

Plug mini USB Cable (white cable) to IN port and connect the other end to one of the following to recharge:
- by USB port (to a desktop computer or laptop)
- by OEM USB Wall Charger Adapter (can be purchased separately...see JAVOedge USB Wall Charger Adapter)
- by OEM USB Car Charger Adapter (can be purchased separately...see JAVOedge USB Car Charger Adapter)
Recharging time: at least 4 hours if portable battery is drained completely
Red Light = recharging battery
Green Light = recharging completed

Symptoms:

If Red LED flickers, there is problem with charging
If Green LED flickers, there is not enough power to charge
If LED turns off after a minute, no charge is happening. It may not be compatible to device.
For high powered devices such as Pocket PCs, check battery status. If battery is at 90% plus charged, may not charge due to close-to-full capacity. Try charging at below 80%.

Precaution:

Do not use under extreme heat
Store battery in cool & dry places
Keep away from corrosive material, water, fire, & heat (eg. sunlight)
Do not disassemble or reassemble battery pack

I have used this product primarially for charging my ipod video while traveling. So far it seems to work very well. It will charge my ipod up to four times before I need to recharge the battery pack itself. The only thing that I didn't like about the charger is that it didn't come with any form of instructions. It's pretty straight forward, but I think that I need to have my ipod playing in order for it to continue charging. I'm not sure if this is the case, but I haven't had a whole lot of time to experiment with it yet, and there are no instructions telling me if this is correct. Overall I like the product and I would buy it again.

It worked. I used it in the car, in a plane, and its pretty easy to figure out how to work, so 4 stars. =)
